Description:
Stink or Swim mapped the operations of the largest UK meat companies, their ownership structures and the supermarkets they supply to. We compared regulatory data and Companies House records to plot the areas of operations of the top 5 meat integration companies. Alongside this, we produced an analysis of the environmental policies and faecal waste outputs of the 10 largest meat companies, finding they produce almost twice as much faecal waste as the UK’s 10 largest cities combined.
Design:
A set of maps and graphics detailing the operating regions, ownership structures and major customers of the largest UK meat companies. Maps reference company brand colours for intuitive reading and brand association.
