Description:
The exhibition provides a nuanced way to present the animal welfare and environmental issues of factory farming, appropriate for children and parents. Play was encouraged, the relaxing and creative sensory experience facilitated deeper learning and discussions around the meat industry and food systems. The chickens were represented by soybeans, the same ingredient in their feed in factory farms. Video below.
The model is flat-pack, able to be transported by car, and is available for non-profit or campaigning organisations to hire. Please contact info@mtrlty.org
