Ammonia Maps
Ammonia Maps reveals the areas of the UK that are most at risk of ammonia pollution. We tracked point-source ammonia emissions and developed an innovative manure-to-ammonia conversion method to map diffuse sources too, i.e. manure spread on fields. This research highlighted the combined environmental and health risks created by factory farm pollution and was widely reported, including local press.

An interactive mapping tool that tracks the likelihood of ammonia pollution across the UK.
